Why Install a Solar Water Heater in Kathmandu?
Kathmandu faces cold winters and steadily rising electricity prices. Many families still rely on electric geysers, which consume a large amount of electricity every month — especially during the winter season.
A solar water heater uses free sunlight to heat water and includes an electric backup for cloudy days and cold mornings. After installation, most households in Kathmandu experience a significant drop in their electricity bills while enjoying reliable hot water throughout the year.
Kathmandu Solar has successfully installed hundreds of systems across the city and understands the local conditions, roof types, and water supply challenges.
