Why Solar Water Heater Installation is Popular in Lalitpur
Lalitpur (Patan) experiences cold winters and rising electricity costs just like the rest of Kathmandu Valley. Many families still depend on electric geysers, which significantly increase monthly electricity bills — especially from November to February.
A properly installed solar water heater solves this problem permanently. It uses free sunlight to heat water and comes with electric backup for cloudy days and cold mornings. Once installed, most households in Lalitpur enjoy hot water at a fraction of the previous cost.
At Kathmandu Solar, we have successfully completed numerous solar water heater installations across Lalitpur and understand the local roof types, water pressure conditions, and climate challenges.
